Save the Date for

The 2nd Annual Run For Our Heroes 5k race/walk

• What: Certified 5k course in scenic downtown Raleigh. Open to all runners and walkers. In addition, back by popular demand will be McGruff the Crime Dog 100 yard kids’ dash.
• When: Saturday, April 24, 2010. Memorial service will begin at 8:30am. The 5k race will start at 9:00am followed by the McGruff Kids’ dash at 10:00am
• Where: Nash Square- 222 W. Hargett St, Raleigh NC 27602
• Why: To honor and remember the Eight Fallen Raleigh Police Officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice while serving the citizens of Raleigh.
• Who: All runners, walkers, wheelchair participants, family, friends and supporters!

Proceeds from this event will go to the Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation. The Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation is a recognized, non-profit 501-C charitable organization whose initial goal is to assist in the building of a memorial honoring the eight Raleigh Police Officers who have died in the line of duty.
